Overview
The Correspondence Log is a place where you can record any correspondence with a contact, including how you plan on following up. When you enter a Correspondence Log entry for a contact, you can assign it to a contact (default is the currently logged in user) and the entry will appear on that user's To-Do List.
Entering a Correspondence Log Entry
- Open the contact to which you want to add a Correspondence Log entry.
- Click the Correspondence Log tab.
- Click ENTER NEW LOG.
- Enter the Correspondence Log details.
- Click OK.
Editing a Correspondence Log Entry
- Open the contact for which you want to edit a Correspondence Log entry.
- Click the Correspondence Log tab.
- Click the Correspondence Log entry that you want to edit.
- Make changes.
- Click OK.
Resolving a Correspondence Log Entry
- Open the contact for which you want to resolve a Correspondence Log entry.
- Click the Correspondence Log tab.
- Click the Correspondence Log entry that you want to resolve.
- Choose Yes for the Resolved option.
- Click OK.
Resolving a Correspondence Log entry will remove it from the To-Do List of the assigned user. But the entry will remain in the Correspondence Log tab of the contact for which it was created.
Deleting a Correspondence Log Entry
- Open the contact for which you want to delete a Correspondence Log entry.
- Click the Correspondence Log tab.
- Click the Correspondence Log entry that you want to delete.
- Click DELETE.
