Overview
If a calendar has a "Status" column, then the status can show in a predetermined color. This is helpful when you want to quickly be able to determine the status of a job. Flex has default status colors, but you can edit these colors to reflect a scheme that works for your company.
Changing a Status Color
- On the System Settings menu, click Status Options.
- Double-click the status that you want to change the color code for.
- Click the color square next to the Background Color option.
- Choose a color from the color selector (or enter the hex code in the input box).
- Click UPDATE.
Keep in mind that changing a status color will NOT retroactively change the status colors of existing jobs. It will only take effect for new jobs that are created. If you want to change the status color of existing jobs, you will have to open that job, click Edit Header, then click Reset next to the Color Code option.
There are other status options that affect the text color, style, and border of the status color on a calendar. These options are useful when you are fine-tuning the look of your status colors. For example, if you choose a dark color for a status color, you might consider making the text color lighter. You can also choose to bold or italicize the text as it is shown on a calendar.
