permanently delete item

We have several duplicate items in our inventory. I've deleted the duplicate items but they still appear in searches. Hiding doesn't work because several of the people have administrator privileges. One guy in particular is color blind and can't tell the difference between the red and black font. I need a way to remove these items forever.

  Hi there, did you find a answer to that ? I have the same trouble with deleted items showing in every search we do for inventory....

  Jessica, just making sure you are aware that you can change the search settings to not include deleted.  It's at the bottom of the dropdown under the Search input field.  Perhaps that will help.  If not, chime back.
