Auto-Open Content Builder on Scan-in
I saw this as a recommendation / request on the old forum, but I'm posting here so it doesn't get lost in the switch over...
I'm wondering if there's an option to have content builder auto-open during scan-in on containers (we heavily use 'serialized storage')?
Our serialized storage containers already auto-explode when we scan them in, but we have to then go to the home screen, open content builder and scan the rest of our items in to the container (which returns the serialized items from the manifest - this part is awesome).
It's not really workflow friendly as we have to do this with almost every case from a show...
I imagine the coding to open content builder after scanning the container could be achieved, based on the robustness of F5's infrastructure.
Let me know your thoughts!

There have been conversations recently that have caused this to be pushed up in the timeline. I still can't say when it will happen but is a feature we also would love to have and so we are working to increase its priority. Stay tuned for more updates.

Scott, it's likely still in the plans as a future Flex5 feature, but a while back there were plans to add a container building mechanism into the Return Screen. I have strongly requested this feature myself as well because (as you are aware) it can greatly reduce the number of scans for clients who use containers. Plus the addition of non-serialized items to be included in that time saving process as well.
Glad you're already taking advantage of returning serialized items through your container building. Many clients don't realize that this is possible. With a warehouse SOP that maintains accuracy through that process, it can be a real time saver.
Let me know if you ever want to engage directly. These are the types of SOP's and recommendations I make as a consultant that can save time and money as well as improve accuracy.
