Non-Serialized Items and Content Builder Upon Return
Hello Flex Community,
I'm trying to figure out how non-serialized items are treated in the Manifest environment.
The goal is to be able to return non-serialized items on the manifest from content builder.
Our current setup is as follows:
1. Cases are marked as Serialized Storage Containers in Flex
2. Serialized and Non-Serialized items are set as "Storage Requirements"
3. Cases are opened via Content Builder and items are scanned in.
Upon return of a serialized storage container, the case is scanned on the Return screen and opened up from the side widget on the screen. Next, the items are deleted and rescanned in order to "update" the case of the new contents,(think of different lights coming back in different cases). When I go back to the Return screen, all of the serialized items are returned as normal, but the non-serialized items that were scanned in during the "update" stage are not, requiring an extra step in order to scan back in.
How do I get the non-serialized items, that are scanned in from content builder, to populate in the line items of the Return screen? I feel like I'm going crazy trying to figure out what I need to do in order to fix this.

Hey Justin Acuff,
Currently, you can't scan non-serialized models into a container and return them at the same time. I believe rebuilding containers as part of the Return is a future feature. So for now, you have to Return them and scan them into the container.
As you've discovered, it is possible to Return serialized items while rebuilding a container. One possible improvement to your process is to have your containers "explode" when you Return scan them so that they're already emptied (except permanent items) and ready for rebuilding. This is in your Inventory Settings. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of assistance directly.
