Anyway for the bold black grand total at the bottom of a quote/invoice to show pre-tax?

Hi All,

As stated in post title. Any way to have the grand total that is always present at the bottom of financial documents to be pre-tax, without turning the tax off completely on the header screen?

  Hey Chris Johnson,

  You can add "Total Price Without Tax" as a field to the Totals section of any document view.  You have the option to make it bold.  Should then show up on most stock reports in your system.  Let me know if you need further instructions.

  Thanks for this. We did already have what you described in our total block columns, boss was just asking me if there was a way for the always-present grand total at the very bottom to display pre-tax.

  You can just remove the one that shows tax, and make the "Total Price Without Tax" the bottom field.  Does that not work?

  Hi Aaron,

  There is a grand total in the bottom right corner of the screen that is always displayed regardless of whether one is one the "header", "details", or "totals" tab. This is the grand total I am referring to, not any totals in the "total black column." Can't seem to find a setting anywhere to edit how this total displays. I have attached pictures with the total circled in red for your reference. Thanks again for your help on this.

  Ah, in the UI.  I missed that.  Yeah, there's no settings for that, but that would be a good feature request.  You're not the only Flex client I've had ask about that.

  I agree, have been asking for this for years as the pre tax amount is what the client is interested in so would be much better to have that displayed rather than the gross amount.
