Posting Crew Schedule
Do you use Flex to post employee schedules? Or another program?
Right now, we have a Google Doc that employees have access to showing their call time for each day, but would like to move towards having everything in Flex to streamline workflow.
Some of our employees are part time and don't have logins for Flex, so how could we give them access to view their Schedule?
In Flex, we use Crew Calls to designate tasks for the day, but we usually have call times set earlier than the first Crew Call. For example, the first Crew Call of the day may be setting up an event at 11am, but I might be called to the shop at 9am and then at 10am I drive to the event site. In this case, should we have 3 separate Crew Calls for meeting at the warehouse, driving to the job site, and setting up the event?
If possible, it would also be helpful if employees could open the Crew Call to read any related notes, and to see who else is on the Crew Call and what different roles are being filled.

You can absolutely manage both full and part-time employees using Flex. If you’d like to manage employees' schedules in Flex, our StaffingPlus add-on is the best option. It allows you to manage and view exactly where they need to be. If your full time staff have logins then they can view all of this info for their contact in the Crew Dashboard.
If you prefer not to give everyone logins, you could also set up an Automated Function to send out daily or weekly contact schedules by email. For example, running it weekly (for a 3-week range) gives your team a clear heads-up about upcoming events and also captures any changes made during that week.
As for multiple call times (e.g., warehouse at 9am, drive at 10am, setup at 11am), you can absolutely create separate Crew Calls for each step. This way, your team sees the timeline broken out clearly, along with any related notes and assignments. Keep an eye out for new staffing features that will make this easier as well!
