Creating an Addendum to a quote

When a pull sheet is created in our system we no longer modify the quote as it causes confusion and missed items etc, we create a child or sibling quote that has all the same information as the original quote but removes all the equipment and adds the additional equipment to the order.

Currently we have to copy the original quote, wait for it to populate (which can take some time depending on the quote, then select all the line items and delete them, them wait for them to delete (again more time), then add the items we want on the Addendum.

Surely there is a way to copy a quote info without all the equipment.

The best i can find is to make a workflow to handle this but I cannot find any information about what some of the menu items do.

  Hi Luke-

  I think you're on the right path. Is this working for you as intended? If not, I would email support and they can advise or tweak the specific settings to get it working for you.

  Can someone explain what these setting actually mean?

  -update match mode

  -Delete on update

  -deep copy

  -copy redirect
