Create Pullsheet Job

Hey,

Is there a way to have it so that when you create a pullsheet from a quote it generate the pullsheet in "auto" sorting mode?  So quoting purposes we tend to break things down by room/area of the event, but it would be great to just have the totals when we create the pullsheet.

For instance in a quote we may have:
Room #1

2 QSC k12

1 MR18 Console

Room #2

4 QSC k12

1 MR18 Console

 

I'd like it so when we create the pullsheet from the quote it just comes up as:

6 QSC k12

2 MR18 console

 

Is that possible?

    Hey Dan,

    From memory, I don't believe there's a way to auto-sort from element generation, but I have a small doubt about saying that.  Either way, what you're really looking for is a consolidated list.  This would need to be done as a report.  There's not a way to do it in the user interface.  I do have some custom consolidated reports, but there is a stock report already in your system called "Consolidated Manifest" that can be turned on for Pull Sheets.  Obviously the nomenclature is setup for Manifest, but it works.

    If you have interest in us developing a custom report for you or adjusting the stock report, let me know.  I have a version I could show you as a demonstration of what we've done in the past.  We also have consolidated reports that compare the items between 2 elements (ex. Quote/Pull Sheet or Pull Sheet/Manifest).  This can provide a snapshot of differences between the elements.  This can be really helpful (for example) in comparing the Pull Sheet and the Manifest even mid scan out to see how things are comparing.  There's quite a bit of ways this type of reporting can be applied.
