Excel/CSV Import to Quote
Hi, we use an excel spreadsheet to create a cable and consumable pull sheet for every event. Currently the excel template we are utilizing is at least 400 lines and it's configured in a way best for workflow as it's an all-in-one view, and shows what'll most likely be needed on our events. We have multiple leads creating a pull sheet for events either while on the go or while in show and it can be accessed off line. We tried creating cable/consumable quotes to use as templates within Flex but it's not conducive to workflow as there's lag time when updating each line once selected with quantity and warehouse mute unused lines to make the Flex pull sheet look clean. If there's a way to import an excel file directly into a blank or existing quote so it can build automatically from the items shown on the excel pull sheet, that would help greatly as we're moving to RFID'ing all our cable and scanning into a quote with the cables imported would be best when prepping and verifying the needed items for an event. This wasn't an issue as we counted every cable outside of Flex before but since we're going to start utilizing the RFID feature, this raised some workflow questions and concerns. I'm available to talk through and show you all our work flow when it comes to cable worksheets but if you all have any ideas, that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

Hi Manuel Luna,
We recently built a tool which does this! Currently it creates Pull Sheets from CSV but it could be modified to do Quotes as well. Email me at hello@squarewave.com.au and I can show you how it works.
Cheers,

Hi Manuel Luna
I worked on something very similar for another client in the AV and live events space not too long ago.
It could be customized to handle your 400-line pull sheet format and integrate with the RFID scanning process for prepping and verifying gear.
It made a solid difference in their day-to-day workflow, specifically around cutting out the manual line-by-line input that creates the lag.
Happy to chat more if you want to explore it.
