Track Services and Inventory Scans

    Hey Colin,

This type of macro reporting can often be tricky. but there are a few tools that come with your Flex system.

For inventory one solution is the ROI Dashboard (currently only available in Flex4).  You can open an inventory model and click on "ROI - Utilization" from the right pane for example.  If you want to see a group of items, you can right-click on an inventory folder in the inventory tree and choose "ROI Dashboard...".

Also for inventory, there's the Inventory Revenue Report that can be turned on for Invoices (technically Quotes as well but nomenclature may be erroneous).  This is a stock report that Flex released based on a report I had designed a few years back.  The one I designed is more robust and allows for more flexibility with data outside of Flex.  Likewise, Flex provides the Inventory Revenue Summary Report, which is similar but summarized into averages.  Note that these are used with Invoices and not Manifests which can often be different in what equipment actually goes on a job.  Not great for true utilization.

For Services, your best bet is likely the "Services Sales" report which can be turned on for financial elements.

I've done a lot of work for clients to provide Utilization and ROI solutions.  Whether you're needing a modification to one of the previously mentioned reports, or you are looking for something different or more robust, I can assist.  My contact info is below.

Thank you for the reply!  I think these reports mostly get me there.  It is just frustrating that there isn't a report that gives raw scan record output in a csv.  Lots of number crunching could be done with that, and it would alleviate the need to jump through a bunch of other reports to get it.

Colin Brandt, I have that as a report if you're interested.  CSV format just like you're looking for.  Shoot me an email if you like (contact info above) and I'll send you an example and see if it's what you're needing.  Same as you, I was wanting something for number crunching when I designed it.
