Substitution on Virtual Package

Hi, 

We are running into a issue with our wireless systems. We currently have our Wireless Mic Systems (TX,RX, Antennas, Lav, Headset, Handheld, Beltapck, Antenna splitters, battery chargers, case etc.) Set as a virtual packages, and the case as Serialized Storage.

From a quoting perspective, we like the Virtual Package so it lists all the contents on the quote, however we have not been able to substitute during prep.

 

Example 4ch digital wireless rack on quote, all 4 ch digital are out, need to substitute for 4 channel analog wireless.

We can perform the substitution, however it does not fulfill the line(s) of the virtual package. On the manifest tab of the Prep Screen the substituted wireless show they are linked to the document. 

 

Any advice?

    Hi Steve,

     

    The only workaround I have been able to do is going into the actual Pull Sheet and editing the Pull Sheet.

    This caused me to have to create a couple new statuses and workflows as even though I would delete it off the Pull Sheet, the Quote would then still think that gear is unavailable.

    It has ended up working for the better as I mainly just review and edit pull sheets now to make sure they are completely accurate and ready for anyone in the Warehouse to Prep without Questions of Substituting anything.
