Barcode label design

Hi, 

I am having issues designing a custom barcode layout. When using either [element.inventoryItem.name] or [element.preferredDisplayString] the serial number will print over the top of the item name making the line unreadable. I am using a GK420t printer set to ZPL2 and am using ZebraDesigner Essentials to design the label.

Any help is appreciated.
