Print Barcode Label to Represent Manifest
Hey Flex Community,
I'm curious if there is a way to setup the system to print a barcode that has job information on it. Ideally we'd be able to print from the prep screen a barcode that would have Company info, MN Info and Barcode for quick pull-up. That way we can slap them on cases on the way out the door and be able to quickly ID them.
Thoughts?

Hey David Jeffries,
I'll add a bit to what Kevin said. Inventory model and unit barcodes are typically permanent labels. But I think you're also describing temporary specific show/manifest related information. It is possible to do this with a custom report and print it with your existing label printer. Most of my requests for this type of report revolve around wanting to list the contents of individual cases. But it can have Manifest related information as well. So you can have a label that is purely job related to slap on every case, and/or you can have labels that also have specific information relating to that specific case. You can also color code your labels if you have a color label printer to distinguish cases for different shows. Lots of possibilities.
Let me know if I can be of assistance in developing a custom report for you. It's one of the services I offer as a Flex consultant. Thanks David.
