Add Labor Role by Day

When I add a labor role to a quote, it calculates date/time based on the start and end date/time of the quote. They way I quote, I'd like to be able to drop a role onto a quote, and it add a day at a time. That way I can use the time component to keep up with hours and show tiered pricing for OT per day.

For example, my quote's Start Date is Jan 1, 2024 8:00AM. The End Date is Jan 5, 2024 6:00PM. I drag a "Video Engineer" onto the quote. It intuitively adds a "Video Engineer" line for Jan 1, 2024 8:00AM-6:00PM (10 hrs).  I drag another "Video Engineer" and it adds another Video Engineer" line for Jan 2, 2023 8:00AM-6:00PM. So on and so forth.

I'm finding that I'm spending A LOT of extra time finessing my labor dates, and was wondering if there was something I've missed in my 10 years of Flex. Some sort of "calculate time based on day" dropdown I've glanced over in Resource Types or Element Definitions.

  Hi Justin!

  One thing that comes to mind is creating subtotals for each day. Drag-and-drop of a resource into a subtotal with specified dates should result in labor lines that reflect those dates. Make sure you switch the drop mode to "insert" or you'll get a new subtotal.
