Invoice price from quote instead of item price?

We are experiencing a slight issue when trying to update pricing of previously quoted inventory.

If we have an item on a quote (Say for example, a Yamaha LS9 mixer) and when the quote was created, that mixer was priced at $300/day.

Then we decide to update the price of the mixer to $400/day.

When that original quote is invoiced, the invoice will pull the price of $400/day from the inventory item instead of the originally quoted price from the quote, which was $300/day. We have price override disabled to control pricing.

This causes issues when invoicing as pricing changes on the invoice, where it would be preferred for it to invoice what was quoted.

Is there a way to resolve this issue and have the invoice pull pricing from the quote, regardless of current item pricing?
