Notification when a document is uploaded

HI,

Is there a way to create an email notification when a document has been uploaded to its element.

If not how would be the best way to do something similar.

  I can't answer the automated part of it, but you could always manually do it, under workflow there is the submit for review, or the Notify Of Changes then enter the email address you want it to be sent.
