Creating a Labor PO from a Crew Call Line Item

Overview

As part of the Staffing Plus add-on, you will have the ability to create a Labor PO from a Crew Call Line Item. This is very useful for when you want to create a Labor PO for a contact on a Crew Call but don't want to do it from scratch. Additionally, you can bulk create Labor POs for multiple lines on a Crew Call.

 

 

Creating a Labor PO from a Crew Call Line

  1. Open a Crew Call element
  2. Navigate to the Details tab
  3. Click the "..." menu on a line item that you want to create a Labor PO for
  4. Click Create Labor PO
  5. Review the details of the new Labor PO popup and click OK

The Labor PO will be created and will show as a child to the Crew Call. 

Bulk Creating Labor POs from Crew Call Lines

  1. Open a Crew Call element
  2. Navigate to the Details tab
  3. Select the checkbox next to any line you want to create a Labor PO for
  4. Click Bulk Create Labor POs in the right-hand menu
  5. Review the details of the Labor PO popup and click OK

A separate Labor PO will be created for each line you selected, and if the line had a contact assigned then the contact will be set as the Vendor of the Labor PO

Changing the Labor PO Target

You can change the target element that gets created when you use this functionality. Typically it will be a Labor PO, but this can change based on your Flex system setup.

  1. On the main menu, click Projects, then Element Definitions
  2. Double-click Crew Call (or whatever you call your main contact list element)
  3. Click the Contact List Options tab.
  4. Click the Labor PO Target setting and choose the target element.
