Overview
With the StaffingPlus add-on, any contact assigned a labor/staffing resource type—such as employees or freelance labor—can access the StaffingPlus portal to manage their work. The portal gives you a view of assigned jobs, lets you enter unavailable dates, and now supports Google Calendar syncing to improve availability accuracy.
Logging into the Portal
When you receive an inquiry or offer email, the response page will automatically include a link to the StaffingPlus portal. From the portal login screen, simply enter your email address. A one-time password (OTP) will then be sent to your email to complete the login process.
If the email you enter doesn’t match an existing record, or is associated with multiple contacts, please reach out to your system administrator for assistance.
Navigating the Portal
After logging in, you’ll land on the Home page. For now, this page will simply greet you with a welcome message and direct you to the Schedule page, where you can manage your availability and see any jobs you’ve been assigned to.
Using the Schedule Page
The Schedule page is where you’ll spend most of your time in the portal. Here’s what you can do:
-
View Assigned Jobs
Any jobs you’ve been scheduled for will appear as events on your calendar. By clicking on an event, you can see details such as the job name, start and end time, your assigned labor role, and venue details. Job details are view-only and cannot be edited. -
Add Unavailable Time
To block out time when you’re not available, simply click on the date in the calendar. You’ll be prompted to enter a start date/time and an end date/time. Once saved, these unavailable periods will appear in your calendar and automatically mark you as unavailable for jobs during that time. -
Google Calendar Sync
Go to Schedule Settings and click Connect Google Calendar to link your Google account. Once connected, any “busy” events from your calendar will appear in your Schedule and automatically mark you as unavailable during those times. Likewise, your Flex events—such as assigned jobs and entered Unavailable time—will sync to your Google Calendar so everything stays up to date in both places. If needed, you can click an event to remove it from your Flex schedule.
This gives you a single, clear place to track your upcoming work and keep your availability up to date.
Schedule Settings & Google Integration
The Schedule Settings page is where you can manage your calendar connection. You’ll find a Connect Google Calendar button there:
Select which Google Calendar you want to sync with.
-
Once connected, any “busy” events from your Google Calendar will automatically sync to Flex and appear as Busy blocks on your schedule, ensuring you aren’t booked for overlapping jobs.
Events that are declined or left without a response will not be synced to Flex.
Your Flex events — such as assigned jobs and Unavailable time — will also sync to your Google Calendar, keeping both calendars aligned.
Select Disconnect Google Calendar to remove all synced events between Flex and Google.
