Overview
Your Flex system can contain a variety of contacts, from clients to vendors to company employees. Flex includes the following default contact resource types (the different folders in the Contacts section of the Resource Browser):
- Clients
- Employees
- Freelance Labor
- Labor Providers
- Vendors
- Venues
Adding a New Contact
- Tap the Hamburger menu (top left corner), then tap CONTACTS.
- Tap New Contact. (If you tap New Company, you'll get the same input form, but the First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Job Title fields won't be visible).
- Enter the new contact information.
- Tap Save (top right corner).
To add new phone numbers, internet addresses, or physical addresses, tap the green plus button next to the section, then the input form will appear.
In early versions of the Flex5 app, you will only be able to create and edit basic contact information. To edit more detailed information, like trading terms, notes, etc., you will have to use the regular Flash version of Flex in a web browser.

Editing Contact Details
- Open the contact that you want to edit.
- Tap the three-dot menu (top right corner).
- Tap EDIT CONTACT.
- Edit the contact information.
- Tap Save (top right corner).
You can also edit a contact from the search page. Search for a contact, tap on the contact from the results list, and one of the actions listed is Edit Contact.
Deleting a Contact
- Open the contact that you want to delete.
- Tap the three-dot menu (top right corner).
- Tap DELETE CONTACT.
You can also delete a contact from the search page. Search for a contact, tap on the contact from the results list, and one of the actions listed is Delete Contact.
