Overview
When a unit needs maintenance or is damaged, you can record that in Flex. The Flex5 app allows you to create a maintenance log and upload images if needed.
Logging Maintenance on a Serial Unit
- Open the serial unit that you want to log maintenance on (from the SERIAL UNITS tab of an inventory model).
- Tap the MAINTENANCE LOG tab.
- Tap the + ADD button (found at the top of the left-hand list near the search bar).
- Enter the maintenance log information.
- Tap the + button in the IMAGES section to upload an image. Follow the prompts to either take a photo with the device's camera, or upload a photo.
- Tap Save (at the bottom of the popup).
There are several other ways that you can log maintenance on a unit, like when scanning on the prep, return, or free scan pages.
Editing a Maintenance Log
- Go to the MAINTENANCE LOG tab of a serial unit.
- Tap the maintenance log that you want to edit (from the left-hand list).
- Tap Edit Maintenance Log.
- Edit the maintenance log information.
- Tap Save.
Deleting a Maintenance Log
- Go to the MAINTENANCE LOG tab of a serial unit.
- Tap the maintenance log that you want to delete (from the left-hand list).
- Tap Delete Maintenance Log.
