Start workflow action from first prep scan or manifest creation
I've been digging around to try and find an answer to whether you can begin a project element workflow from the first warehouse scan on the prep screen. It seems like the place to do this would be to link it to the creation of the manifest. Is there a way to do this? I found the following two articles that are very helpful for finalizing prep and return, but not for starting.

This is not possible. I've commonly seen this requested for the purpose of changing the status of the Pull Sheet or Quote once the prep begins. But no, there's no way to trigger a workflow action with your 1st scan or the associated Manifest creation.

Thank you for the response. I'm just disappointed that it can't happen that way. It seems like a big hole in available actions in an otherwise very robust and configurable workflow section. That first scan is a major step in the workflow, and having to do it manually is just leaving a big opening for human error. I'm a firm believer that computers should be doing things that computers are good at, and people should be doing things that people are good at.
