seeing serialized package/storage contents on a quote

I saw this question asked but it wasn't answered. 

We are trying to see the contents of our wireless packages on the quote level.   Our wireless packages are currently set up as serialized storage and we are wanting to see the storage requirements to be visible on the quote

  Yes it is possible to do this, there are a few different ways. At Square Wave we provide an "Inventory Configuration" training session which teaches you how to do exactly this, among many other helpful practices.

  How we have worked around this is to create a Virtual Package for the Wireless Package and then un-line mute the contents on the quote that we want visible

  The way I have found to do this is to add the contents of the system both to "contents" and to "storage requirements". One list goes to the quote, the other list tells the system what should be in the box. Though this requires doing the work twice, it gives you the opportunity to omit items that are trivial to the client, such as power and link cables, mount parts, accessory items, etc.
