Color coding for status based on location
We have facilities in Arizona, Nevada, and Illinois, and would like to be able to have default color codes for tentative, and confirmed status based on location, example:
AZ Tentative Yellow, AZ Confirmed Green
Nevada Tentative Dark Yellow, Nevada Confirmed Light Blue
Illinois Tentative Bright Purple, Illinois Confirmed Orange

To start with, I'm curious if different colors is really necessary. Do you have separate calendars set up for each location? Typically that would be the easiest way to filter jobs per location.
But if you're set on separate colors, you would need to have separate statuses for each location. That probably means forks in your workflow depending on job location, or different project elements altogether (i.e. AZ Quote, NV Quote, IL Quote). I don't recommend separate elements, for a variety of reasons, but it is a solution to this problem.
