Docusign Sending Working View for Client to sign instead of Client View

When I look at "Preview in Docusign", the pdf that would be going to the client is the "working View". We want the "Client View" to be the one for the client to sign. How do we change that?

We don't need nor want clients to see the resource type column.

    I'm answering my own question here, because I just figure out how to do it. Click Main Menu in top left corner, choose "Projects" > "Element Definitions" > "Quotes" > "Views" > Make sure "Internal Use Only" on Working View is "YES" and Client View is "NO".

     

    There might be another way, but this is an easy solution if you only use Working View to build quotes and not send to clients.

    Yeah, this logic shows up in some other places too.  When I've run into it before, it seems the logic goes from left to right (top to bottom in settings) on the list of views until it finds one that is Internal Use Only - "No".

    Actually, I tried placing Client View above Working View with each listing as "NO" and that DID NOT solve the issue.

    Would be great to have a box within the Docusign Settings that let you choose which view you would like to pull the pdf from. Thanks for replying to my message.

    Peter, let me know if you would like a custom Quote report done for you.  It would bypass the logic of which View you are running the report from.  Also, I don't think any of the other stock reports respond to the View you're in.  Likely just the "Default Financial Document".
