    Hi David,

Take a look at https://helpcenter.flexrentalsolutions.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054924294-Prepping-a-Pull-Sheet#h_01FFQYEZAJXBQ9CDHC8433ADR5 (Choose From Another List). It's specifically built to take equipment from one show to the next with minimal interaction.

That said, best practice is to have a Pull Sheet that has lines for all the items you want to have on the next job. I recommend copying the parent Quote, generating the Pull Sheet via Workflow and updating (or removing) any lines as need for the next job. Then when you open Prep, use the Choose From Another List button and search for the last job's Manifest... Select lines and "auto scan." It still performs "real scans," so it may take a few minutes to complete depending on the size of the job, but it should require much less interaction for the non-serial lines.

    Hi Randy,

I just tried doing this with a similar situation where our equipment stays at the Venue for a year, (then we bring it all back and clean it up, etc.). The Venue is for live bands so sometimes a visiting band will request more equipment (adding cost, which I add at the quote level so it can be applied to the pull sheet and new invoice.) In my situation, I don't think I can adjust only the Pull Sheet or else the price does not reflect the new equipment.

When I selected the items to transfer from the previous Manifest (items that stay in the Venue) FLEX is requiring me to individually Virtually Scan them. (Pop Up - "Process Virtual Scan") and there are a large quantity of items. Is this what you meant by "It still performs real scans" or is FLEX supposed to automate through all of the scans? My "Default Assumption" is that I missed a step or did something incorrectly.

(The Venue is 10 miles from our warehouse and my barcode reader only has a range of 3.16 miles on a clear day, we are not allowed to remove the computers from the warehouse or I would just go over there and scan everything, LOL.)

Thanks for your time and expertise!

    Hi Joey,

Virtual Scans still require the same processing as a "manual scan with a barcode scanner." That's what I mean when I refer to "real scans." But beyond that, the popup you got is expected and Flex will then "automate through" all of the barcodes it can. I haven't used the future myself in quite a while, so I don't recall what might require further input from the user, but units should definitely auto-scan; quantity items might only work for lines that match their quantity... I don't know what might be "abnormal" and thus require more from you, but generally speaking, if the jobs are really similar, this feature is a huge timesaver.
