Virtual Model Line Muting

I'm looking for a way to automatically make inventory items selected in a virtual model be line muted in the quote. Is this possible, without going into each inventory item and selecting auto-line mute?

  Hey Andrew,

  If you're talking about the items you select from a suggestions pop-up of a virtual model, then yes, they can auto line mute if they're coming in as child items (indented and collapsible into the originating item).  There's no setting for auto line muting in this way, but it simply behaves in this way if they're set to come in as children.  I'm saying this from memory, but I'm fairly confident it's as I've described.  Am I understanding you correctly?  Do you need further clarification?

  Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about, but I can't find how to make items that I drag in as suggestions in the Virtual Model "as child." The training videos say this has been set up for items to be children of the VM, but I don't see that option when creating my VMs.

  Andrew contacted me offline.  I sent him some information on Suggestion Types and how to adjust their settings to make suggested items add as children of the host model.  Anyone else is welcome to chime in with questions pertinent to this thread.  Thanks!
