Feature Request for Link Manager
Hi All,
I'm assuming that this doesn't exist but if it does can someone tell me where the activation settings are for it?
On the Pull Sheet page I would like the link manager to be able to see downstream lines for an item that include not just itself but all of its alternatives/substitutions that are on the manifest.
We container process a lot of our gear before scanning it out on the pull sheet so we rarely get a chance to use the 'substitute line' option.
I can have a pull sheet say it's only at 80% but in reality everything has been pulled.
To work around this and make sure we've not forgotten to prep something, I have to look for the 'swap outs' on the manifest and then either go and change them on the quote and update the pullsheet or just make a mental note that it's ok!
How do other people get around this?

Hey Nick,
I don't think you're going to find any related controls with the link manager. I don't have any great solutions within the user interface for your exact workflow. But I did want to just mention that you can make those substitutions at the PS level instead of the Quote so as to not make changes to a financial document that has been submitted to a client. Perhaps you already know that, but I thought it worth mentioning in case.
Ideally, you would make your substitutions before the scan out, but that may not be congruent with your current process. I have a custom report that compares the PS and Manifest quite efficiently. It does not however take into account substitution options. It may be difficult to accommodate for the substitutions, but we've pulled of some crazy things before. Let me know if you would like to pursue it and we can engage accordingly and see if this type of solution is worth the pursuit.
