Inventory resolve report
Is there a report that can track the items in inventory compared to the presumed owned in flex?
example: Rentals: 6/5 quantity
When I run the report for the item it shows I have 6 but doesn't show that Flex thinks I only have 5. Having a report that would compare and show both numbers would be helpful to spot check items.

Brian,
We do not currently have a report that provides that information, but you can reach out to support@flexrentalsolutions.com to inquire about having a Custom Report made at a cost of $120/hour. Be sure to provide the exact data that you'd like to include in the report and you'll receive an estimate for approval.
From your example, it seems that you're having issues with non-serialized items. Because these items are not tracked individually, there's more room for human error when processing scans for these items - including typos where a tech accidentally presses a 6 instead of a 5. The default setting when scanning non-serialized items has a prompt that pops up asking for quantity. In addition to typos, it's also common for a warehouse tech to not realize that the quantity prompt is there and proceed with scanning another barcode, which then processes that barcode as the quantity for the non-serialized item that was initially scanned.
There is an alternative option that removes the quantity prompt and instead only processes one item per scan. For example, if you need to scan 5 IEC cables, you'd scan that barcode 5 times instead of scanning it once to enter a quantity. That setting can be found in Flex4 by going to Inventory > Inventory Settings > Non-Serialized Item Scan Prompts for Quantity.
