Auto-timed notifications leading up to and after jobs

Hello,

I am looking for a solution to help my team stay up to date on new orders as well as be reminded of older orders that are being returned or need to be picked up.

Right now, I'm thinking a simple system where Flex emails our team 48 hours before and 24 hours before an order is supposed to be prepped for pick up at our warehouse by client/delivery by us to client, and emails our team 48 hours before and 24 hours before an order is supposed to be picked up by us/dropped off by client. 

Is there anything in FLEX 5 I can do that is even remotely similar to what I'm describing?
