Introduction
Flex integrates with QuickBooks Desktop so you can combine the strength of Flex's inventory management with the accounting software you're accustomed to. Flex can send invoices, quotes, and other financial elements to QuickBooks.
How it Works
Using Flex with QuickBooks Desktop is a two step process. When you export a financial element from Flex, the data becomes available to QuickBooks. But Flex can't put the data inside QuickBooks. For that, there's QuickBooks Web Connector.
QuickBooks Web Connector was built by QuickBooks to communicate with third-party providers like Flex. It can reach out and retrieve the data Flex makes available, and communicate it to QuickBooks Desktop.
Once an element has been (1) exported in Flex and (2) retrieved by QuickBooks Web Connector, the information will be available in QuickBooks Desktop.
