Introduction

Request a Docusign Signature from within Flex
On a Docusign-enabled Flex element (Quote, etc.), click the Docusign icon in the right-hand workbench menu, then click Request a Signature.
Once the popup opens, select a report from the dropdown to send for signature.
Recipient 1 Name is automatically populated using the Client information from the Flex document you're working on.
If the document includes signature lines for more recipients, additional recipient blocks will show.
To add or change a Name, simply start typing the name you'd like in the appropriate Recipient block. Select a known contact from the options that appear as you type. To add a new contact, use the magnifying glass to the right of the Name field. Each recipient will be sent the Docusign envelope.
Recipient Email fields are automatically filled with the default email for the contact in the associated Name field. Additional email addresses associated with the contact can be viewed by clicking the dropdown arrow. A unique email can also be typed into the Email field, allowing you to send to anyone.
Recipient Title fields only show if the document includes a line for title with the signature line. Title fields are automatically populated if the associated contact has that information in Flex.
CC Recipients are additional contacts you'd like to receive the Docusign envelope. They are marked as "Receives a Copy" in the recipient list in Docusign.
The Email Subject and Email Message are populated based on the template selected when adjusting settings for Docusign. Both fields can be modified at will from this popup. Changes will only be reflected for the Docusign envelope being created.
Clicking the Preview in Docusign button sends a draft envelope to Docusign where you can review and make changes if needed. Once the system has sent the draft, you'll be notified and can click the Open Docusign button to view the document.
Alternatively, clicking the Send Now button will tell Docusign to immediately send the envelope to the recipients without further review. A toaster confirmation message will briefly appear to let you know the document was successfully sent to Docusign.
