Overview
The Dashboards page is currently in its early stages and is designed to give you actionable insights into inventory performance. With interactive data visualizations and filtering options, it helps you make smarter, data-driven decisions.
If your user record has the Can View Inventory permission granted, you’ll see Dashboards as an option in the Main Menu. Clicking it will open the ROI tab by default. In order to see data populate here, you must have the Can View Inventory Financial Information permission granted.
Navigating Dashboards
When you open the Dashboards page, you’ll see different dashboard types organized into tabs. Each dashboard features two key components:
- Dashlets – Widgets that display metrics based on your selected filters.
- Headline cards – Summary views showing top-level metrics calculated across all inventory.
At the top of each dashboard, you'll find filter options that determine what data appears in the headline cards and dashlets.
How Filtering Works
- Dashlets require all filters to be selected in order to display data.
-
Headline Cards display data from all inventory groups and usually only require a date range to be selected.
- Note: The ROI dashboard is an exception—it requires both an element definition and a status to be selected.
Exploring the Dashboards Tabs
Currently, each dashboard tab focuses on a different aspect of inventory management and operations. Below is a brief overview of what you can expect to find in each tab and how it can help you gain actionable insights from your data.
- ROI (Return on Investment) - View financial performance metrics such as revenue, profit, and cost recovery across your inventory. This dashboard helps you identify your most valuable assets and understand overall inventory profitability.
-
OOC (Out of Commission) Logistics - Review inventory that is currently or was recently marked as out of commission. This dashboard helps you track the volume, frequency, and resolution time of OOC records so you can identify recurring issues, assess operational impact, and improve maintenance workflows.
- Note: The 'Current' headline cards display all-time data and are not affected by the date range selector.
-
Scanning Logistics - Monitor warehouse throughput, track individual user performance, and assess the impact of RFID adoption (or non-adoption). Use this dashboard to identify peak scanning periods, understand team workload distribution, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Note: You can click within either dashlet to view additional details for the displayed date.
