Inventory Settings Definitions

Explode Containers On Inbound Scan - When set to YES, non-permanent contents in containers will be removed after an inbound scan is executed. An example of an inbound scan is a Free Scan In or Return scan. NOTE: The container is exploded first and then the scan is initiated; meaning the inbound scan only applies to the container and not the contents.
Explode Free Picks On Recovery Scan - When set to YES, non-permanent contents in free-pick containers will be removed after a Recovery scan is executed. A Recovery scan is present after an item is free scanned in instead of being returned from the Manifest, and after items are scanned from one prep screen to another prep screen.
Invalidate Storage Containers On Free Scan In - This applies only to Storage Containers during Free Scan In. This setting allows more specific control over container handling instead of the global Explode Containers On Inbound Scan.
Invalidate Storage Containers On Free Scan Out - This applies only to Storage Containers during Free Scan Out.
Free Scan In Container Mode - Determines if container contents will be automatically scanned during Free Scan In.
Free Scan Out Container Mode - Determines if container contents will be automatically scanned during Free Scan Out.

Show Barcode For Serialized Models In Equipment List - When set to YES, equipment lists will populate the barcode of the unit, followed by the serial number or stencil. If both serial number AND stencil exist, the stencil will display.
Recovery Scans Enabled - When set to YES, recovery scans will be allowed. A "Recovery" scan takes place when an item is scanned from one job to the next without first returning the item from the previous Manifest. This will only apply when "Journal Out On Prep" is set to No.
Scheduled Maintenance Enabled - When set to YES, the "Scheduled Maintenance" tab will be present for serialized inventory models. Click here for more information about Scheduled Maintenance.
Track Depreciation - When set to YES, the depreciation fields will be present for serialized inventory models. Click here for more information about Inventory Depreciation.
